Notarization of prize contest, also named as draw notarization, means the notarization institution, based on the application of sponsor holding prize contest, testifies that the procedures of prize contest and winning results are authentic and legal in accordance with laws concerned. The common prize contest include prize savings, prize quiz, prize appraisal, prize donation, premium sales, prize contest, quiz game.
Generally, the notarization of prize contest will be governed by the notarization institution located in the domicile of the organizer or that in occurring location of activities concerned (withdrawing and appraisal of prize contest). The organizer shall submit application to the notarization institution before publicizing prize announcement or methods as the sale of lottery and complete notarization application form. Besides, the organizer shall provide the following documents to the notarization institution:
(1) Identification. The qualification of legal person of organizer and the identification certificate of legal representative. For agent, provide letter of attorney, the identification certificate of the agent and qualification of organizer.
(2) Approval document of regulatory bodies on prize contest and drawing rules.
(3) Regulation and method of prize contest.
(4) Quantity of lottery sold, recovery status and lottery sample.
(5) Inspection certificate of draw equipment, and list of prize drawing and appraising personnel.
(6) Other supporting documents required by the notarization institution. |
