英文原文 Airport Public Address System General description Elason Public Address system is a multi-function system that includes signal processing, powerful software and evolutive microphone stations. This innovative concept allow us to create a specific announcementssystem based on the needs of our customers. Easy to install and to use it gives quality to improve airport communication and reliability. System Architecture The Elason PA system uses a network configuration rather than having all system elements connected to a central controller. This architecture gives real freedom in system design. A system is composed of modular elements which make the equipment suitable to environment and use constraints. This technology allows the conception of more or less complicated installation and guarantees a lasting quality. The network links cabinets together. A system can operate with up to 16 cabinets. Each cabinet contains the required basic components to control all the equipments (audio sources, power amplifier and speakers) connected to it. The flexible system architecture allows any type of equipment to be located wherever is most suitable in the building. There is any heart in the system which means that system can still operate when an electronic failure appears. Synoptic Diagram The following diagram explains the link between the different parts of the system. In particular data and audio are separate between Call Stations and Matrix. The maximum number of audio channels on the bus which links the cabinets is 16. Each cabinet can manage inputs or outputs according the architecture needed. For example in the diagram hereafter, the cabinet 1 manage any output (amplifiers) but only inputs (sources). Cabinets 2 and 3 control both sources and amplifiers. Cabinet Mainframe Mainframe is totally modular so we can build a system based on your needs. It contains space for cards which means that the system is expandable. Input / Output (Matrix) Matrix is composed of I/O cards which control either 1 audio source or 2 power amplifiers. These cards include a built in preamplifier and are controlled through a microchip processor. The number of cards depends on the number of connected equipment. Announcement desks Announcement desk with programmable push buttons provide the following functionsadaptable to your airport: Make announcements to individual zones or group of zones, such as gate or baggage area, etc… or of course the entire terminal.
Power amplifiers Power amplifier unit formats are 2U 19”, balanced input 6dB and 100 volts line output. It has its own power supply, integrated monitoring and fault identifying system and built-in automatic backup switching in case of failure. The standard range is made up of 80, 150 and 250 watts units. High-efficiency amplifiers for closer stacking in a 19" rack.
Test systemTest system (EN 60949 compliant) allows checking the whole components of the installation from the microphones up to the speakers. This part includes a diagnostic software, hardware led indicators and audio monitoring of all tested parts of the installation. A computer’s connected to one of the cabinet can display technical failures and historic events. |
