Native English speaker with a 3 year college-level proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. Ability to translate documents with a variety of topics, especially technical , medical, and literary .

TEFL Teacher Certification from ITTT corporation: 20 unit course completed.

High proficiency with Audio-visual technology, digital/overhead projectors, microphones, sound mixing boards, and other various input, output, and control devices.

15 years experience with office software.

High proficiency with Information Technology (computer networks, hardware, and software) troubleshooting. Familiarity with Windows NT/2000, various UNIX environments (including Linux and FreeBSD), and Mac OS 9 and X. Experience with C++, Supercollider, Cold Fusion, SQL, and LINUX shell scripts.  Many years of work and non-work related experience solving IT-related problems quickly, logically and creatively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

One year in Fuzhou, Fujian, China teaching English as a freelance teacher. Sept 2003-June 2004

Five months in Spain as a private tutor. (June 2005-Present)

Volunteer at Fujian Normal University's college radio station as a technical assistant, a radio personality, and a DJ. Aug 2003-June 2004

Employed at Sage Systems, a technology company in Alameda, CA. June 11 to August 20, 2001 as general IT Technician, assistant systems administrator, and helpdesk assistant.  Left to attend college.
