会议背景介绍： The International Congress on Insurance: Mathematics and Economics (IME) is one of the major international conferences in the area of insurance and actuarial science. It is regarded as a precious top-tier forum for academic researchers and industry practitioners. The congress is associated with the leading actuarial science journal, Insurance: Mathematics and Economics. It has been held annually since the first congress in 1997 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In the last seventeen years, the congress has been held Europe and North America, with the exception of the 12th congress (Dalian, hosted by Tsinghua University), and the 16th congress (Hong Kong, hosted by the University of Hong Kong). East China Normal University is proud to be the host of the Eighteenth International Congress on Insurance: Mathematics and Economics.
The cores of the presentations at the congress include the theory, methods and the innovative applications of insurance and actuarial science. The congress intends to provide a platform for participants to exchange research ideas and to strengthen communications between academic researchers and industry practitioners.
We welcome all academic researchers and industry practitioners from all over the world in the area of insurance and actuarial science participating in this congress.
Leaders from China Insurance Regulatory Commission, Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Insurance Regulatory Bureau and East China Normal University will be invited to attend the congress.
World-renowned scholars in the area of insurance and actuarial science will be invited, in particular the editors of the journal Insurance: Mathematics and Economics: Hansjoerg Albrecher, Marc Goovaerts, Rob Kaas and Elias Shiu.
征文范围及要求： The Scientific Committee of the 18th International Congress on Insurance: Mathematics and Economics is calling for papers dealing with the following topics (not limited to): insurance risk models, pension mathematics, life and non-life insurance, social insurance, health insurance, solvency regulation, reinsurance, insurance products linked to equity, applications of methodologies and/or results to actuarial science from other fields, such as probability and statistics, numerical analysis, finance, economics, operations research and risk management.
