会议背景介绍:  Welcome to the 3rd SKLRB Symposium on Frontiers in Reproductive Biology, which will be held on Oct 26-31, 2014 in Beijing, P. R. China. This

series of symposia, hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Biology (SKLRB), Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have provided an

international forum for the presentation and discussion of frontier research in the field of reproductive biology.
 
The 1st and the 2nd symposia in 2010 and 2012 got together 66 leading investigators and more than 450 scientists, junior investigators and graduate students

worldwide to communicate new challenges and findings in reproductive biology. The 3rd symposium will continue discussing major topics in the field of

reproductive biology including “Molecular and cellular aspects of ovarian and testicular differentiation”, “Early embryo development and implantation”,

and “Placentation and pregnancy-related diseases”, and will expand the theme to include a brand new entitled “Epigenetic regulation of reproduction and

reproductive technology”. We believe that the 3rd symposium will continue to serve as a powerful platform for extensive exchange and sharing of new

information and development in the field, and the development of better communication among scientists across the world.

 

计划生育生殖生物学国家重点实验室的前身为中国科学院生殖生物学开放实验室。曾是美国Rockefeller基金会在全世界设立的七个“21世纪生殖避孕网络中心”之一,和

WHO/Rockefeller基金会在全球设立的六个“胚胎植入研究中心”之一。计划生育生殖生物学国家重点实验室的前身为中国科学院生殖生物学开放实验室。1991年重点实验室正式对

外开放,实验室受国家卫生和计划生育委员会和中国科学院双重领导,依托单位为中国科学院动物研究所。实验室的创始人为著名内分泌学家、生殖生物学家、研究员、博士生导

师,中国科学院生物学部委员、生物学部代主任张致一先生。历任实验室主任有:庄临之研究员,祝诚研究员,段恩奎研究员,孙青原研究员。现任实验室主任周琪研究员,学术

委员会主任裴刚院士。学术委员会委员由我国生殖生物学界22位知名教授(研究员)组成,其中有中科院院士6名、工程院院士2名;实验室现有固定成员68人,研究员22人,副研

究员8人,高级工程师和实验师4人,助理研究员17人,中级和初级人员17人。

SKLRB )主办,旨在为大家提供一个了解学科最新进展和促进国际合作交流的大平台。

 2010年和2012年的第一届和第二届研讨会,66位国际领军科学家和450多位国内外同行学者和学生围绕生殖生物学领域的重要科学问题进行学术交流。第三届研讨会的主要议题有

包括:(1)卵巢和睾丸分化的分子和细胞学基础;(2)早期胚胎发育和着床;(3)胎盘形成和妊娠相关疾病;(4)生殖技术和生殖的表观遗传调控。40位本领域国际顶尖科学

The primary objective of our research is to elucidate the mechanism of primordial germ cell (PGC) specification, and to investigate the mechanism of

extensive epigenetic reprogramming in early germ cells, including that conferred by maternally inherited factors in oocytes. Building on our previous work,

we aim to resolve comprehensively the molecular foundations of specification of the mammalian germ cell lineage. And we are gathering insight into the

mechanisms involved in the establishment of the pluripotent state, and continuing to identify the key factors that are crucial at these times.
