“设计教育再设计”系列国际会议在各方的支持下已经成功召开了两届，分别从学科研究和产业服务两个角度反思了现时人才培养和设计实践中所面临的诸多问题，也提出了很多需要关注和值得讨论的话题。2012年的“范畴、方法、价值观”针对设计学科成为一级学科的背景，反思不同定位下的学科研究对象、实践方法和判断标准；2013年的“新领域、新问题、新对策”则更多地从实践的角度探讨了设计思维在包括健康、服务设计、公共事务管理等诸多新兴领域的应用拓展，以及针对不同领域的问题而引发的设计方法的改变，乃至设计咨询服务作为一个产业自身转型升级的问题。
2014年“设计教育再设计”系列国际会议（三）：设计的哲学概念，将在前两次会议反思和问题展开的基础上，尝试寻找各种复杂现象背后的普遍属性、共性技术和核心原则。届时，来自世界各地从事设计、管理和经济学研究的几十位学术领袖和产业先行者将聚集无锡，和国内同仁一起分享大设计的前沿研究成果、最新实践案例，共同探讨大设计和设计思维的哲学基础。
“Redesign Design Education International” Conference has been held for a successive of two rounds with the support of all parties, reflecting on the problems faced by design education and design practice from the perspectives of interdisciplinary research and industry service, raising up attention-attracting questions and valuable topics for discussion. The 2012 conference themed “Scope, Method and Principles” stood on the fact that design discipline has become the first level subject, and reflect on the subject of study, practice methods and criteria in different backgrounds; the 2013 conference themed “New Context, New Opportunities, and New Approaches” laid more focus on the practical part, discussing on the application of design thinking in the context of healthcare, service design, public services management, and calling for the change in design methodology in different areas of study, as well as the call for the upgrading of design consultation service industry.
Standing on the reflections and problems discussed in the previous two conferences, the 2014 Redesign Design Education International Conference (III): Design Philosophy, will explore on seeking out the general attributes, generic technology, and core principles lying behind the complex phenomena. Dozens of academic leaders, experts and industrial pioneers involved in design, management, and economics will join the conference in Wuxi, to share the forefront research results, and cutting-edge practical cases on design in a broad sense, contributing to the discussion on the philosophical basis of design and design thinking. 
 

会议期间，除了嘉宾演讲和论文陈述环节，另外安排有以下主要活动，活动内容持续更新中：
