会议背景介绍：     ICHMM-2014 seeks dissemination of recent, cutting edge research results as well as in-depth discussions regarding future research directions in the challenging subject of heterogeneous material mechanics. Sessions will focus on original recent research developments, while invited panel discussions aim to stimulate future research directions. ICHMM-2014 consists of 2 phases: Phase 1 is the main body of the conference and will be held in Chongqing city, one of the largest cites in China with a population of  30 million. Phase 2 includes 4 panel discussionsand  informal discussions  to facilitate  research collaborations,and will be  held during a five-star cruise on Three Gorges of Yangtze River.
