会议背景介绍：  It is my great pleasure as a President of the National Academy of  Sciences of Azerbaijan to invite you to the International Conference “Increasing the knowledge about oil and gas reservoir - accuracy of predicting production performance”  organized by Azerbaijan Society of Petroleum Geologists (ASPG) together with EAGE LC and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and to be held in Baku, from 15-17 of October, 2014.

The conference is dedicated to achievements in the investigations of problems of classical reservoirs from the stage of its search by geophysical methods of exploration to the methods of effective elaboration.
The conference will be a great opportunity for discussions of scientists and researchers, sharing experience, establishing new cooperation and will serve the further development of the areas of the science of petroleum geology in the field of exploration of reservoirs. The field trip to Kirmaky Valley and Core Storage will allow to get acquainted with sandstone reservoirs of middle pleiocene age.
The walks along the shore of the Caspian Sea and the streets of Old Baku will leave the unforgettable impressions among the participants.
 
征文范围及要求：  For the Baku 2014 Conference we will accept papers on the following topics:

·    Methods & technologies for optimization and increasing hydrocarbon recovery
