会议背景介绍:
We are pleased to announce that the 4th IAEE Asian Conference will be held in Beijing, China on September 19-21, 2014.

The world is facing new energy challenges. One is modernization in developing countries, where the energy demand growth in the coming decades has significant impacts on energy security not only in Asia but also the world as a whole. Another is that it is difficult for the humanity to pass by the hydrocarbon energy when addressing climate change, especially after the severe accident of the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Not the last and least important one is the paradox between the globalization of energy market and the heightened resource nationalism, which makes the geopolitical relationship more complex and instability. Under all these challenges, how should energy security and climate change be addressed? What kind of competition and cooperation pattern should be taken and how should they be applied? Does the current energy supply and transport infrastructure ensure long-term security? What alternative solutions exist? The 4th IAEE Asian Conference will focus on these issues. The conference will bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world.
