The project is located at Shinan Area, Qingdao, to the east of which, it’s Haitian Hotel; to the west of which it’s Taiping Cape No. 6 Road, where it’s the connection spot of the new and old city proper; to the north of which, it’s West Bingang Road; to the south of which, it’s West Donghai Road, neighboring the sea, and across from the Olympic Aquatics Center, so it has won an advantageous geographic location. The project occupies the land area of 23090 square meters, with the total floor area of about 160 thousand square meters. Integrating the functions of office building, high-class apartment and commercial conference center, the main tower is as high as about 200 meters. The architectural planning and design introduce the natural scenery into the site, emphasize the connection of mountain and water, and make the grand “foundation” part and the tower blend into a harmonious whole. The main tower is highlighted with its special shape and material—the unique form “cutting” approach, and the colorful and various architectural images reflected by from the rising sun to the sunset glow; the material gradient from the light to the deep from the “foundation”, integrates the building, the sky and the sea. The whole architectural complex has a clear designing approach, standing toweringly and majestically on the coast of the sea.

The project occupies a land area of 65,430 square meters, on the east of which, it’s Qizin Road, the commercial, recreational and landscape thoroughfare of Minhang Area. The plot is divided from the middle on Xinzhan Road to the two pieces of 37,021 square meters (on the north) and 28,319 square meters (on the north). The area where the plot is located is oriented as the urban commercial sub-center according to commercial planning. CHENDU CITY PLAZA

The whole design integrates China’s traditional concepts on architectural planning with the new building; the symmetric and proportional layout presents decency and solemnity of the organ of political power, and is also clearly locally featured; the indoor and outdoor space is open and holds a great centripetal force, presenting the image of the party in the new age that is open, democratic and full of cohesion.
