Appendix VI: Technical requirements for the temporary tents of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Game project
1 总则1 General
1.1 为规范奥运工程临时用篷房的建设,落实“人文奥运、科技奥运、绿色奥运”理念,满足使用功能,技术可靠、安全适用、经济合理、保证工程质量及使用安全 , 制定本规程。
1.1  In order to standardize the construction of temporary tents of the Olympic project, implement the logos of "humanistic Olympic, technology Olympic, green Olympic”, satisfy requirements of functions of use, technique credibility, safety and suitability, economic feasibility, quality guarantee and usage security, this regulation is established.
1.2 本标准适用于奥运工程中临时用房采用的单体跨度不大于40m的单层篷房的设计、制造、安装及使用与维护。当单体跨度大于40m,或高度超过2层 (含2层)及有特殊要求时应组织专家进行安全性论证。
1.2  This standard applies to the design, fabrication, installation, and use and maintenance of the temporary tents used the Olympic project which is monolayer and the monomer span is no longer (include 2 floors) and with special requirements, specialists shall be organized to perform security demonstration.
1.3 临时篷房的应用除应符合本标准外,尚应满足现行国家及北京市有关标准、规范及奥运设计大纲有关规定要求。
1.3  Except for satisfying this standard, the usage of the temporary tents shall also meet the requirements of the relevant stands specifications of the state and Beijing, and relevant regulations of the Olympic design outline.
2  术语Terms
2.1  篷房Tent
 可重复使用的、活动的、封闭或打开的临时安装结构建筑 , 由支撑结构与围护结构组成。
It is a reusable, movable, sealed or unclosed temporary fixing structure building, and is made up by supporting structure and building envelop.
2.2  结构构件Structural components
 组成临时设施的主要受力构件 , 如 : 梁、柱、板、支撑、楼梯、平台等构件。
They are the main load-bearing member that made up the temporary facilities, such as: beam, pillar, board, support, staircase platform and so on.

2.3  围护结构Building envelope
 篷房各面的围挡物 , 如墙体、屋面、门窗等。

3  一般规定General requirement
3.l 合格证明文件 : 篷房应有出厂合格证明文件及相关测试报告。合格证明文件中应标明产品型号规格、批次编号、制造商名称、生产年份、技术验证机构、燃烧特性及其他必要信息。
3.l  Competence certification documents: the tent shall have ex-works competence certification documents and relevant test reports. Necessary information such as product specification, batch number, manufacturer name, production year, technical identification institution, combustion characteristics and so on shall be indicated in the competence certification documents.
3.2 篷房的设计、制造、安装必须保证结构的安全。
3.2  The tents design, fabrication and installation shall guarantee structural safety.
3.3 篷房的围护结构及内部装饰所用材料必须达到 B1 级及以上防火等级。支柱结构的安全缆绳必须由不燃的材料制成。
3.3  The materials used for building envelope and interior decoration shall achieve the fire-protection rating of B1 level and above. The safety cable shall be made by noncombustible materials.
 3.4 篷房跨度小于等于 12m 时 , 抗风性能不低于抵抗 60km/h 的风力。篷房跨度大于 12m 时 , 抗风性能不低于抵抗 8Obdh 的风力。
3.4  When the tent span is less than 12m, the wind resistance ability shall at least resist the wind power of 60km / h. When the tent span exceeds 12m, it shall at least resist 60km/h.
3.5 篷房应有充分的节能措施。
3.5  Sufficient energy-saving measures shall be taken for the tent.
 3.6 篷房根据使用需求 , 应考虑防水、排水措施。
3.6  Waterproof and drainage measures shall be taken into consideration according to the usage requirements.
4  设计Design .
4.1  设计文件Design documents
 4.1.1 设计文件应包括设计图纸、稳定性验算、安全运行、实施及使用说明、燃烧特性的相关文件。
4.1.1  The design documents shall include the relevant documents such as design drawing, stability checking computation, safe operation, implementation and operating instructions, and combustion characteristics.
4.1.2 设计文件应经过有关机构进行评估和检查 , 并证明以下内容:

4.1.3 设计图纸中应包括帐篷主要尺寸 , 限制规定 , 特殊设计及材料要求。所有的局部 装配及独立部件必须有结构图。结构图应包含总平面图 , 正视图和剖面图 , 结构图应特别标出测试及批准所需的所有尺寸大小及横截面数值, 以及材料 , 结构部件 , 紧固件及 连接器的细节。
4.1.3 The design drawing shall include the main dimensions, limitations, special designs and material requirements of the tent. All the sub assembly and individual components shall have structural drawing. The structural drawing shall include the master plan, elevation drawing and sectional view. The constructional drawing shall especially mark out all the details of the size dimensions and cross section value, materials structural components, fasteners and connectors that are needed by test and approval.
