北京xx学院成立于1953年，是北京市独立设置的成人高等师范院校，主要承担北京市基础教育、职业教育和成人教育教师与管理干部的本、专科学历教育及在职培训，同时负责北京市大学和中小学教师资格认定工作。在北京市委、市政府的领导下，北京教育学院始终坚持为首都基础教育、职业教育和成人教育服务的办学方向，先后培养了数以十万计的教育行政管理干部、党务工作者、骨干校长和教师，成为首都“人才强教”的“工作母机”和首都教育发展的“奠基石”。
Beijing Institute of Education was founded in 1953. It is an independent higher normal college for adults in Beijing and mainly covers the university and college degree education and on-the-job education of teachers and leadership of Beijing elementary education, vocational education and adult education, as well as teacher qualification accreditation of university, primary and secondary schools in Beijing. Under the leadership of Beijing Committee of Communist Party of China and Beijing Municipal People’s Government, Beijing Institute of Education has always stuck to school-running direction of serving the capital’s elementary education, vocational education and adult education, has cultivated ten thousands of educational and administrative leadership, party affairs workers, backbone school principals and teachers and becomes the “machine tool” of “human resources development” of the capital and the “foundation stone” of capital education development.
