会议背景介绍: You are warmly invited to the 65th Annual ISE Meeting that will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland from 31 August to 5 September, 2014. The meeting will be held in the Swiss Tech Convention Center (STCC) on the campus of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), which includes other architectural landmarks such as the Rolex Learning Center. The STCC is one of the first fully-automated congress centers including ultra-modern equipment. EPFL is located on the shore of Lake Geneva, 20 minutes from Lausanne by metro. Lausanne, where ISE has its seat, is known for its historical old town and for being surrounded by terraced vineyards. It is at the foot of the Swiss Alps and many famous mountains such as the Jungfraujoch or the Matterhorn are only a short train ride away. The meeting will illustrate the central role played by electrochemistry in different fields ranging from analytical chemistry to solar cells, from corrosion to fuel cells, from transportation to DNA sequencing. Above all, electrochemistry is a fundamental science at the frontier between physics, chemistry and biology. The objectives of the meeting will be to cover state of the art progresses in the understanding of charge transfer reactions, and in presenting the latest developments in emerging applications.
