In recent years, there has been very rapid progress on research and development of continuous wave high power optical fiber lasers and optical fiber amplifiers, ultra-short pulsed fiber lasers and pulse amplification, novel optical fiber and fiber component design, non-linear effect of fiber lasers and their frequency conversion. In order to exchange new ideas and information between foreign and China , improve academic level and industrialization of high power optical fiber, following the “International Conf. on Development and Application of High Power Fiber Lasers 2012 ”, the International Conf. on Development and Application of High Power Fiber Lasers 2014 will be held on 13-15 May 2014 in Beijing, China. The Organizing Committee will invite international specialists who have been working in the field of fiber laser technology for a long-time with high reputation internationally.
