For nearly 40 years, the previous 19 symposiums have provided an excellent opportunity for researchers in gas, chemical and high power lasers, along with the end-users of these lasers to exchange ideas, review the state-of-the-art and foresee emerging trends within the fields. The 20th Symposium will accentuate the research on high power laser systems and applications, active optics, ICF laser drivers, laser propulsion, space debris removal, laser matter interactions. These topics will be added to topics of the previous symposiums.
It is the first time that the HPLS&A symposium will be held out of Europe in Asia. The organizers are looking forward to welcoming you at the HPLS&A 2014 in Chengdu. 征文范围及要求: TOPICS ADVANCES IN HIGH POWER LASER SOURCES 2 High Power Diode Laser 2 Solid State Laser Sources and System Engineering (including Disk, Fiber, Hybrid Lasers) 2 UV, VUV, EUV Lasers 2 Gas and Chemical Lasers (including DPALs) 2 Ultra-short Pulsed Laser Systems 2 Theory & Simulation 2 Laser Materials (Crystal, Ceramic) RESONATORS AND LASER BEAM CONTROL 2 Beam Quality & High Brightness 2 Phase Locking & Phase Conjugation 2 Adaptive Optics & Synthetic Apertures 2 Beam Combining, Beam Control & Beam Directors APPLICATIONS 2 Laser Remote Sensing (including LIDARs, simulations and control) 2 Laser materials processing 2 Micro- and Nano-fabrication 2 Mobile Platforms and Integration Aspects 2 Lasers in Security, Defense, Marine and Space Applications 2 Laser Matter Interactions, Laser ICF 2 Laser Propulsion, Space Debris Removal NOVEL APPROACHES 2 Terahertz Technology 2 Other Novel Approaches |
