Optics and photonics are experiencing rapid growth driven by the needs in aviation, aerospace and the commercial marketplace. Since the field of photonics is a key driver for technology innovation and the future for next generation product development, this conference will focus on novel optics and photonics technologies that directly impact global economic sectors. This includes technologies for aerospace applications, commercial aircraft, military aircraft and ground vehicles, submarines, and commercial transportations systems. 

The conference will include invited technical presentations and poster presentations, as well as a panel of speakers from industry and government to discuss current and future challenges in optics and photonics.
