会议网站: http://www.rev-conference.org/REV2014/ 会议背景介绍: REV 2014 is being hosted by the Polytechnic of Porto - School of Engineering (ISEP) (www.isep.ipp.pt), in Porto, Portugal. Porto is the second largest city in Portugal and has been elected as the best European Destination 2012 by the users of the European Consumers choice website. Attending REV2014 will give you an opportunity to discover Porto and what makes it different: the famous Port Wine, an Historical Center designated World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, and Museums, among other attractions, whilst participating in an exciting conference program.
REV 2014 is the eleventh in a series of annual events concerning the area of remote engineering and virtual instrumentation. The REV conferences are the annual conferences of the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE) (www.online-engineering.org). The general objective of this conference is to demonstrate and discuss fundamentals, applications and experiences in the field of remote engineering and virtual instrumentation. With the globalization of education the interest in and need of teleworking, remote services and collaborative working environments now increases rapidly. Another objective of the symposium is to discuss guidelines for education in university level courses for these topics. REV 2014 offers an exciting technical program as well as academic networking opportunities during the social events. 征文范围及要求: Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation includes consideration of topics such as:
- Remote, online and virtual laboratories, including architectures, pedagogies and applications. - Remote process visualization and virtual instrumentation - Remote control and measurement technologies - Use of networking and grid technologies in supporting remote access to systems - Mixed-reality environments for education and training - Technical and design issues in remote engineering, including human-computer interfaces, usability, accessibility and security - Demands in education and training, e-learning, blended learning, m-learning, and ODL - Teleworking environments, including telemedicine, telediagnosis, telerobotics and teleprescence - Support for, and implications of, collaborative work in virtual and online engineering environments - Telecommunities and their social and/or economic impacts - Innovative organizational and educational concepts for remote engineering - Standards and standardization proposals in remote engineering - Applications of remote engineering and/or virtual instrumentation
