Recent progress in cell death, stem cell biology and cancer research has created a new paradigm of research direction, shifting from pure analytical approaches toward a more translational one with animals and patients. The purpose of this symposium is to create a forum for the interaction among scientists from China and other parts of the world. It will also provide a platform for development of collaboration.
The symposium will cover a variety of important topics in cancer and immunology research under the main theme: "Cell Death, Stem Cell and Immunology." We would like to share with you the frontier findings and discuss pivotal questions in the field as well as approaches to therapeutic targeting.
A special session “How to Get Published in Cell Death & Disease” can be expected for you, editors from Cell Death & Disease(CDDis)of Nature Publishing Group (NPG) will help you to comprehend how to make your researches to be published in CDDis. The practice of publishing research in peer-reviewed journals is crucial to the advance of science and medicine. Often researchers receive no direct instruction on how to go about this, but instead are expected to pick up the correct procedures from supervisors and colleagues. The experts from Nature Publishing Group will describe the whole process of publishing, from drafting a manuscript to the peer review process through to publication. As such, it will be of interest to the range of participants in the publishing process: from less experienced authors to those undertaking peer review.
