会议背景介绍：
国际计算流体力学会议（International Conference for Computational Fluid Dynamics）是当前计算流体力学领域最有权威和最有影响的国际性学术会议。它自2000年开始、每两年举办一次，迄今已经举办了七届。该会议的前身是国际流体力学数值方法会议（ICNMFD，始于1969年)和国际计算流体力学学术会议（ISCFD，始于1985年)。前七届会议分别在日本京都(2000)、澳大利亚悉尼(2002)、加拿大多伦多(2004)、比利时根特(2006)、俄罗斯圣彼得堡（2008）、韩国首尔（2010）和美国夏威夷（2012）举行。
国际计算流体力学会议为从事计算流体力学研究的专家、学者提供了一个开展国际学术交流和合作的重要平台，2014年的第八届会议将于2014年7月在四川省成都市召开。会议的主题是计算流体力学研究与应用，内容包括CFD新算法研究、流动机理和建模进展、CFD应用、CFD历史等。会期预计5天，由中国空气动力学会承办，中国空气动力研究与发展中心协办。第八届会议在中国举办，将为中国计算流体力学工作者展示自己的研究工作并开展交流、合作提供一个难得的平台，会议的召开必将有力地促进我国计算流体力学的发展。
本届会议预计代表约200至250人，其中国外代表约120人，国内代表80至130人。欢迎国内广大计算流体力学工作者踊跃投稿。
征文范围及要求：
ICCFD8 is devoted to all innovative aspects of CFD, basic and applied. Subjects of interest include but are not limited to:
