会议背景介绍： We seek high-quality papers from scholars in the fields of finance and accounting for the Eleventh Annual Napa Conference on Financial Markets Research, co-hosted by the UC Davis Graduate School of Management and Financial Management, a journal of the Financial Management Association (FMA).
This is a small, high-quality, conference held in the heart of Napa Valley’s wine country at the Cakebread Winery (see www.fma.org/Napa/2013/NapaProgram2013.htm for the 2013 program). In addition to consuming highquality research, conference participants consume outstanding wine and cuisine in the bucolic Napa Valley. There are hosted dinners on Friday and Saturday at superb Napa Valley restaurants and a luncheon prepared by the chef at Cakebread Winery on Saturday. Following the conference on Saturday, there is a hosted wine tasting at the Cakebread winery. Six papers will be selected for the program. Presenters will be reimbursed for travel expenses (coach airfare up to $1,500 USD, two nights in conference hotel, and rental car for two days).
Criteria used to select papers for the program include the nature of the research problem, implications of the proposed research, the quality of the research design, and the expected contribution of the research to the literature.
