2001年7月-8月赴澳大利亚墨尔本大学参加“Mass Historia”历史研讨会，并宣读论文“A Black and Yellow History—A Study of Chinese-Aboriginal Contacts”。
2002年7月-12月获澳中理事会2002"Visiting Studentship"奖学金，在澳大利亚Griffith大学学习并完成硕士论文“Restorative Justice in Australia--From Theory to Practice”。
2006年4月至2007年1月，在澳大利亚格里菲斯大学进修。
