1982-1986年长春地质学院学习（学士学位，地质矿产普查与勘探专业）；
1986/9-1988/12在长春地质学院攻读硕士学位；
1988年12月－1993年5月在莫斯科大学获得矿物学、岩石学博士学位（PhD）。
工作经历：
1993/5－1995/7：北京大学地质系博士后流动站。
1995年8月－现在：在北京大学地质系工作，历任任副教授、教授（2004年－现在）、博士生导师（2005年－现在）。
荣誉、获奖情况：
中国矿物岩石地球化学学会“侯德封”青年科学家奖(1998年)；入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”(2005年)，北京大学优秀博士学位论文指导教师(2011年).

1篇学术论文（Ore Geology Reviews, 2007，32: 337-365）入选中国百篇最具影响优秀国际学术论文。现任中国地质学会矿产勘察专业委员会委员、矿床专业委员会委员、区域地质及成矿专业委员会委员，《矿床地质》、《Earth Science Frontiers》等专业学术期刊编委。主办国际学术会议2次（2007年，2011年），主编教材2部，出版专著3部。发表SCI论文80多篇，SCI引用（他引）800余次。
