一些参与基本生物学过程的重要蛋白质的功能失调会影响细胞的正常生理功能,并可能导致炎症、肿瘤在内的多种疾病,因此,对这些蛋白的结构和功能开展研究具有重要的生物学意义。研究室主要选取一些与炎症、肿瘤等人类重大疾病相关蛋白及一些功能未知的但可能具有重要生物学意义的新型人类蛋白为靶蛋白,研究其结构和功能的分子基础,研究蛋白质与蛋白质以及蛋白质与其它生物分子相互识别和相互作用的分子机制、调控网络关系,以及蛋白质功能的失调与一些重大疾病的发生和发展的关系及分子机理。
本实验室主要兴趣在于:
1. 蛋白质的泛素化、类泛素化、磷酸化等修饰对NF-κB、p53等信号通路以及DNA损伤应答的调节作用及其机制。
2. 炎症调控相关蛋白作用的分子机制及其与癌症等炎症相关疾病的关联性。
3. 流感、乙肝等病毒重要蛋白的结构和功能研究。
