利用海气耦合模式数值研究北太平洋下潜过程对热带太平洋温跃层和海面温度的影响，由美国NOAA，NSF和DOE资助，已完成。
利用1.5层和2.5层耦合海洋－大气约化重力模式理论研究热带太平洋年代际振荡模，由美国NOAA，NASA和DOE资助，已完成。
利用GFDL模块化海洋模式(MOM)模拟太平洋1976/77气候状态转换以及相应的下潜过程，由美国NOAA和NSF资助，已完成。
利用1.5层约化重力模式和普林斯顿海洋模式(POM)研究南海海洋环流季节变率及其区域动力学，由中国国家自然科学基金重点项目(No.：49636230)资助，已完成。
