研究方向:

磁学和新型磁性材料,材料的结构与电、磁特性。

研究内容:
1.新型永磁材料
 (1)新型稀土-过渡族永磁材料(2)纳米磁性材料 (3)反常温度系数磁性材料。
2.新磁性相的结构与物理特性研究
 致力于包括永磁和软磁材料、磁电阻、磁熵变材料、磁致伸缩材料以及超导材料等的新相结构和物性关系研究。
3.新型能源材料研究
 我们利用磁性探针(磁性元素)研究了微机电材料、燃料电池材料、储氢材料等新型能源材料以及热电材料和超导材料的物理和化学特性,合成新型能源材料。
4.纳米磁性功能材料及其应用
 纳米结构磁性材料包括人工构造和天然的纳米结构材料,在提高能量转换效率、信息存储、医药和生物医学等领域具有广泛的应用前景。我们从事于研究纳米结构材料的新现象和新规律。理解磁性和输运等物理特性与结构的关系。合成新型纳米复合材料,获得具有优异光、电、磁特性的新型材料。
5.低维强关联和无序体系的磁性研究
 以稀土和或过渡族元素为主要组成的金属或氧化物材料体系,由于存在结构和磁性的多样性、f 和d电子的自旋-轨道的耦合交换作用及电子强关联性,具有强磁晶各异性、高饱和磁矩、超导、巨磁阻、磁致伸缩、磁卡效应等现象,是当前凝聚态物理研究的前沿。低维或纳米尺度的材料 (量子点、纳米线和薄膜)呈现出许多新的物理问题而有待广泛研究。我们致力于从宏观和微观角度研究这些材料的磁特征。研究新物理特性的起源。了解物性与纳米结构的关系,建立相关理论,进而控制和合成具有各种特性的材料。

获奖情况:
1998 获德国洪堡奖学金。
2000 获全国优秀博士论文奖。
2003 获国家自然科学二等奖 。
2006 甘肃省自然科学三等奖
2009 新世纪优秀人才
