As the original aims of amphibia-reptilia.com was a bit wide, i will narrow these down a bit.

As the taxonomy is ever changing, and two major sites already deal with the taxonomy and geographical distribuiton of reptiles and amphibians respectively, i have decided to focus more on the bibliographic part of herpetology. I will therefore be re-organising large parts of the page in 2013 and relaunching a new frontpage with more focus on books, journals and societies.

Instead of trying to cover all species, we will in the future make species portrays with the aim to make as full bibliographies of this particular species as possible at the same time. We will also make bibliographies of selected authors from the past and present.
