The presentation investigates Multiphase Flow and Flow Assurance and their importance. It will briefly discuss how the oil and gas industry is addressing Multiphase Flow and Flow assurance within projects, the technology that is being used to solve the Flow Assurance issues, and what are the future needs and what Engineers can do to narrow the Flow Assurance gaps
Join Tom Freeman on 19 August as he discusses the pitfalls, problems, and lessons learned in planning an extra-HPHT completion. Examples of pitfalls encountered in completion design will include tubing design and qualification issues, perforating challenges, limited downhole production equipment, vendor selection and manufacturing challenges, and lack of service tools.
The future of offshore oil and gas production in ultra-deep water and/or ultra-long distance tieback applications will include the capability to develop those fields using subsea technology exclusively, without the need for offshore host facilities. We will also discuss the enabling technologies for these subsea field developments and the production and flow assurance benefits of subsea processing in these applications.
