Evolution, published for the Society for the Study of Evolution, is the premier publication devoted to the study of organic evolution and the integration of the various fields of science concerned with evolution. The journal presents significant and original results that extend our understanding of evolutionary phenomena and processes.

 

Evolution is pleased to welcome Managing Editor, Katie Simmons. In this role Katie takes on peer-review management from submission through publication and overall content development in collaboration with the editors and SSE. In addition, Katie will act as point liaison for authors, researchers, and reviewers on all publication related correspondence. Katie initially joined Wiley in 2006 as a journals production assistant. She quickly gained experience managing the editorial receiving offices for several high volume flagship and society-owned journals. Katie is excited to get to know the SSE community and is thrilled to bring her publishing expertise to subject area that she has long found fascinating.
