The Knowledge Engineering Review is committed to the development of the field of artificial intelligence and the clarification and dissemination of its methods and concepts. KER publishes analyses — high quality surveys providing balanced but critical presentations of the primary concepts in an area; technical tutorials — detailed introductions to an area; application and country surveys commentaries and debates; book reviews; and a popular 'from the journals' section, giving the contents of current journals in theoretical and applied artificial intelligence.

Archive Acknowledgements
The Cambridge Journals Digital Archive has been compiled only with the assistance of many organisations and individuals.
The majority of the content has been supplied by either the editors, editorial offices or the learned societies on whose behalf we publish their journals. In addition, where there were gaps in the runs of journals that could not be filled from these sources, we have relied on the services of the British Library, Periodicals Services Company and numerous used and antiquarian book dealers, where copies might be found.
In several cases, librarians and individuals have contacted us, in response to the notices of missing issues, very kindly to lend or donate their copies. As a result, we estimate that fewer than 30 issues remain to be found. As we digitise new journals and add to the Collections, this list will be updated.
Missing archives are listed on the page called Additional Archive Issues Required, which can be found above. If you are able to help by lending any copies, please contact Gavin Swanson. (gswanson@cambridge.org)
