《钢铁研究学报》（月刊）创刊于1981年，是由中国钢研科技集团公司主办的冶金类学术性刊物。在1999年国家经贸委所属242个科研院所的体制改革中，该院改制为国家级高新科技企业（全国仅有12个科研院所进入此行列），这表明该院的综合实力位居全国前列。

　　经过10多年的努力，《钢铁研究学报》已发展成在中国冶金界极富影响力的学术性刊物之一。自创刊以来多次在全国和冶金科技期刊评比中获奖，连续被选为全国核心期刊，并被国内外许多著名检索刊物及数据库收录。

The Journal of Iron and Steel Research, International, sponsored by the Central Iron and Steel Research Institute, is a learned journal in the metallurgical field. The purpose of the journal is to reflect developments in science and technology in the iron and steel industry, to promote academic exchanges, and to enable the development of qualified personnel by means of reports on the latest scientific research achievements on new processes, new materials and new equipment, and their dissemination and applications. Columns include Metallurgy and Metal Working, Material, and Testing.
