GE China recruits professional Chinese verbal/written translator

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. Follows an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives. Has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
· Provide professional written translation of commercial and technical documents from English/Chinese to Chinese/English
· Provide professional verbal/written translation at major events, business meetings, projects, and training class, etc
· Provide administrative supports to JV expatriates onboarding, off-boarding and daily management process, coordinate with all internal and external parties, and expats individuals related with the processes.
· Facilitate the communication between foreign and local staff
· Manage multiple projects and priorities and initiates follow up to ensure timely achievement of commitments.
· Provide discrete and confidential coordination of sensitive company information.

Qualifications Required:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, major in English or related
· TEM-8 or equivalent
· Excellent English skills: written and verbal.
· Fast learner
· Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
· Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good time management to meet challenging deadlines.
· Detail-oriented, accountable, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure
· Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary
