I think the rate will depend on the professional category of the video content. So please supply us some information about the content difficulty level and  technology field as I mentioned in my previous email in order that we consider a final rate.

Is there a way your translators can use a different format for the time code

For example:
 
01:04:09:03 01:04:09:12 instead of vertically as you put it in the test.
If you’re able to do it this way, that would work for us.
Could you please let us know if the rate would be okay with you

The glossary would be in English and if you can confirm that you can take on the 150 minutes with the deadline previously established, we can confirm from our end this collaboration.
Ideally you would have a team of transcribers working on the project and we would need you to deliver the files every 30 minutes so we can start proofreading the files gradually.

We will have a team of transcribers working on the project and deliver the files every 60 or 120 minutes so you can proofread the files gradually.

About the rate, because you can only supply English glossary, our rate will be USD xxx per minute. If our transcribers will find that the contents are not very difficult, I can lower the rate to USD xxx.

I prefer to supply the subtltle file in a word format because almost everyone can use the word software. Could you please supply such a sample document of subtitle file in a word format asap.
About the price, because the time will be very urgent, the rate will be higher than the regular price.
Moreover, the video length is 60 minutes and our price of xxx 2xx is for the 60 minutes job not 150 minutes job.
If you accept the word format subtitle file, the price can be negotiable.
The other important factor is the professional category of the video content, what is the content of the video about, whether it is difficult, whether it is very professional, technical level. You know if the content is very difficult technology content, the job will be more time consuming.

Hi xxxx,
As per our phone conversation, I wanted to confirm a few things with you.
We have received the test and it is all fine however we wanted to let you know that we do not need the subtitles burned into the video (such as the video you just sent us, meaning that the subtitles are part of the video and can’t be separated).
All we need is a subtitles file with the timing and the transcription of the audio.
This subtitles file can either be in the format attached (this is an SRT test file that we have received from other providers in another language) or even in a word format as long as it contains the time codes.
Could you please let me know which subtitling software you use and if you’re able to send us a similar file
I assume that since you burned the subtitles in, you probably have a file that you used to insert into the video. Could you please check with your team.
We’d also like to know which subtitling software you are using in order to assist you with that task.
On another note, still related to the point above, since we do not need the additional service of having the subtitles burned into the video the current rate you proposed would need to be lower (the current one is  $xx.33 per minute X 150 minutes = USD xxxxx).
According to the market and other similar service providers, we had in mind USD xxx.xx per minute X 150 = USD xxxxx.xx for the whole project which would only include transcription and timing but no burn-in.

I’d like to add that our client will send us more work if we’re successful and that you would then be our long term partner to collaborate on these projects.
