Basic certifying documents on foreign-related civil matters general notarization issues.

The procedure of Mandarin,Chinese, English certified translation, notarization, certification and legalization by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassies:

1. Birth
ID card, certification letter, residence booklet. Extra recent 1-inch or 2 inch photo has to be provided if used in the United States or France. A born questionnaire should be taken from the notary office if their resident registration has been canceled, then the police station in which the registration cancellation will issue certificate, which can be used as original residence booklet.
2. No criminal sanction certification
ID card, residence booklet, certification letter or other relevant certifications issued by the police station.
3. Marriage
ID card, residence booklet, marriage certificate.
4. Divorce
ID card, residence booklet, divorce certificate or court judgment, mediation. The written judgment of first instance should provide validity proof issued by the court.
5. Relatives, extraterritorial relatives
ID card, certification letter, residence booklet. Kinship range is limited to certify the lineal relatives and the next pro within three generations. If it is collateral consanguinity, the certification should specifies the origin of their relations: such as cousin brother, should state whether he/she is the children of his father’s brothers or sisters, or the children of his mother’s sister.
6. The school attendance certificate
ID cards, school attendance certificate, residence booklet.
7. Death
The applicant's ID card, the proof of the relationship with the deaths and deaths certificate.
8. Survive
ID card, proof issued by the police station, residence booklet.
9. Citizenship
ID card, residence booklet or passport

11. Working experience

20. Statement
ID card, statement draft (personally handled), residence booklet and other assistant documents related to delegation issues.
21. Provision assurance
Applicant's ID card, the relationship certificate between the applicant and the people under foster care, assurance certificate draft, power of attorney of foster people, passport of people in foster care, the parents passport of the people under foster care.
22. Graduation, graduate degree, transcripts, title of technical post, grade of technical post, driving grade, ect.
ID card, residence booklet, and origin certificate.
Remarks:
1. When applying for notarization, the applicant is required to carry ID card. The trustee need to take ID card and power of attorney if appoint other people to make application.
2. When applying for notarization which is related to applicant’s status, like declaration, power of attorney, fingerprint, foster care assurance and other notary, the applicant should be on site.
