Ultrasound Department              Examination Results
Color Doppler Ultrasound for Thyroid The size of thyroid was normal, but the walls were less smooth. Several echo nodules were detected on the left with the size of 1.40 x 1.05cm. The border was fine. The inside echoes were poor around with halo. CDFI: The blood flowed around the echo nodules. Point-flagpoles were detected inside. While, hypoechoic nodules were detected under the left side with the size of 0.56 x 0.34cm. The border was still clear. The internal echoes were inhomogeneous, CDFI: the significant flagpoles were not detected either in echo nodules or around. At the same time, a hypoechoic nodule was detected on right middorsalside with the size of 0.34 x 0.32. The border was not very clear or regular.   Internal echoes were inhomogeneous.The specklehyperechoic echoes were detected, CDFI: the significant flagpoles were not detected either in echo nodules or around.There were no significant enlargedlymph nodes on both sides.
Color Doppler Ultrasound for Bilateral Breast Bilateral mammary gland thickened slightly and its structure was notregular. Internal echoes were not very homogeneous, which were scattered in the flakedhypoechoic areas.No significant lesions were seen, CDFI: there was no obviously abnormal blood flow signal.No significant enlarged bilateral axillary lymph nodes of bilateral axillary were touched. Bilateral axillary arteries were normal.
Liver The size and shape of the liver were normal and the walls were less smooth.
The liverparenchyma had a thickened echo-texture.The distribution was less homogeneous, intrahepatic vessels were clear, and portal vein diameter was not widened, CDFI: the portal vein blood flow filled well, and it appeared as the hepatic blood flow.
Gallbladder The size and shape of the gallbladder were normal and the wallswere unsmooth with the thickness of about 0.4cm. It sounded normal in the gallbladder. The common bile ductswere dilated, CDFI: there was no abnormal blood flow signal.
Pancreas The size and shape of pancreatic parenchyma were normal with the clear border. The pancreatic parenchyma had a homogeneous echo-texture. The main pancreatic duct was dilated without abnormal echo, CDFI: there was no obvious abnormal blood flow signal.
Spleen The size and shape of the spleenwere normal and the walls were smooth. The parenchyma had a homogeneous echo-texture. No significant lesions were seen. The inner diameter of splenic vein was normal, CDFI: there was no obvious abnormal blood flow signal.
Kidneys The size and shape of kidneys were normal and the walls were smooth. The parenchyma had a homogeneous echo-texture. No significant enlargements of renal calyces and renal pelvis were seen. The inner diameter of splenic vein was normal, CDFI: the portal vein blood flow filled well.
Bilateral ureters No significant enlargements of renal bilateral ureters were seen.
Bladder Bladder filled well and the walls were smooth. It sounded normal in the bladder. No significant lesions were seen.
Uterus The uterine size was normal and the walls were smooth. Endometria were in center, CDFI: there was no obvious abnormal blood flow signal.
Bilateral Adnexa A hybrid echo area was detected in the right ovary with the size of 1.7 x 1.6cm. The border was clear and the shape was less regular. The internal echo was inhomogeneous, CDFI: there was no obvious abnormal blood flow signal. No significant lesions were detected on the left side.
