Infrared emitters are used for disbursing the interpretation signal throughout the conference venue. As infrared signals use light instead of the radio frequencies, no signal leaks through walls and the multiple systems can be used in adjacent halls. Usually, emitters are settled on stands at corners of the room, suspended in the ceiling grid or lighting truss in large halls. High fidelity and multi-channel audio can easily be routed to overflow rooms by simply installing a single cable from the transmitter to additional emitters. The convection cooled design of the high power emitters assures that no fan noise occurs
