The main aim of system is to have video monitoring on operation train carriage/cab:
在事件发生时，通过乘客应急对讲装置装置、车门紧急解锁装置、烟感探测器、温感探测器或司机以及控制中心OCC)人工选择触发显示屏显示（全屏显示或四分屏显示可选）等事件发生所在车厢图像，辅助司机以及控制中心OCC)对事件的处理；
 When it happened, by using the passenger emergency feedback device, emergency door unlocking device, smoke detector, temperature detector or motorman and control center(OCC) to artificial select and trigger the display to show (full screen display or quarter-screen display optional）the carriage image where the incident happened，and assist the motorman and control center(OCC)to handle the incident;
对运行列车车厢/司机室的所有摄像头记录的视频图像信号进行连续的记录，为事件事后的调查提供依据；
 To make a continuous record for the video image signal recorded by the all camera of operation train/cab, and to offer reference for ex post facto investigation of the incident.
系统具有故障自诊断能力，主要部件的故障信息应能通过设置在系统控制设备上的标准服务串口下载到手提电脑上，并能通过与列车管理系统（TMS）的接口将故障信息显示在司机室显示器上；
 The system has fault diagnosis capacity, and the fault info of the main component should be downloaded to portable computer by the standard service serial located on system control device, and show the fault info on the cab display by the interface of train management system (TMS);
摄像头记录的视频信息通过大容量的数字视频硬盘或其他合适的存储器存储，所存储的视频信息可通过视频监控系统控制器和监控显示器回放，控制中心可通过无线网络回放；
 The video info recorded by camera is stored by high-capacity digital video hard disk or other appropriate memorizer, and the stored video info can be replayed by Video Surveillance System controller and surveillance display, and the control center can be replayed by wireless network;
OCC能够通过无线网络与列车视频监视系统（CCTV）的车载硬盘录像机接口调用车厢监控图像。
 OCC can join the interface of vehicle hard disk video recorder of the train Video Surveillance System (CCTV) by wireless network to transfer carriage surveillance image.
