6. Attentions in the Design
1) Household-based partition wall weighted sound reduction index: first grade ≥50dB, second grade ≥45dB, third grade ≥50dB. DBJ 01618-2004 “Standard for the Design of Economical and Practical Houses” should be implemented in residences in Beijing district. The household-based partition wall weighted sound reduction index should be equal to or more than 50dB. The household-based partition wall should be light wall which satisfies the above weighted sound reduction standard.
2) In seismic region, ‘∩’ shape or ‘┐’ shape steel plate clip should be installed on joints between the top end of partition wall slat and floor slab and roof to prevent the partition wall slat from collapsing while cracking in earthquake.
3) If equipments or heavies are going to be hung on the partition wall, embedded parts should be installed according to the positions in the engineering design. The space between hanging points should be equal to or more than 300, and the individual point load-bearing value should be equal to or less than 800N.
