1. For the interviews that only need general interpreter with about 3 to 5 years of interpretation experiences. The price will be USD xxx.

I will arrange a general and qualified English-Chinese interpreter with 3 to 5 years of interpretation experience.

- good command in both English and Chinese with general skill in interpretation.

- Well organized with good coordination skills.

- Residing in Guangzhou or Shenzhen.

2. For the interviews that need senior interpreter, the price will be USD xxx.

I will arrange a very senior and qualified English-Chinese interpreter with 5 to 20 years of interpretation experience.

- Very good and strong command in both English and Chinese with excellent skill in interpretation.

- Well organized with good coordination skills.

- Residing in Guangzhou or Shenzhen.

There are three payment ways you can choose anyone:

For first time of cooperation, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required in advance and the remaining 50% to be paid after delivery. In the future, we can adopt more flexible payment terms.

Thank you for your email.

I confirm that an interpreter is only needed for one day on 24 February 2016 from 9:30am – 1:30pm and not two consecutive days as stated in your email. The translator will be required to meet Ms Bavin and Ms Brooker at the school.

The interpreter will be required to attend with a solicitor (Ms Bavin) and a neuropsychologist (Ms Brooker) at the Beijing Huijia Private School (No. 157 Changhuai Road, Changping District) for the purpose of a neuropsychological assessment to be performed by on our client (who is Chinese and is a student at the school). Our client does know and understand some English.

The translator will be required to meet Ms Bavin and Ms Brooker at the school for a 9:30am start.

The interpreter will be required to:

. assist and translate in general conversation

. translate questions and answers from Chinese to English and vice versa

. relay instructions

I can provide some documents for research and preparation.

Please advise if you have a translator with experience in legal and medical translation as this would be preferred.

In the meantime I attach a previous neuropsychological report prepared by Ms Brooker so the translator/interpreter may familiarise themselves with some of the terms that may be used on the day.

I also attach an extract from “Working with Interpreters: A Practice Guide for Psychologists”.

Please specifically confirm that the translator/interpreter can meet Ms Bavin and Ms Brooker at the Beijing Huijia Private School (No. 157 Changhuai Road, Changping District) and they do not require transportation.
