Hello,

Sorry for this mass mail.

We just got a request for translating a document from the US Department of Justice that there will be a document translation job for me. The document has 17,238 English words and needs to be translated into Cantonese. You and I probably know when Americans say Cantonese they don't really know the subtle difference between it and Chinese.  Since this is a formal document about police force in San Francisco, I don't think we can use the Hong Kong slang and funny character. So you can consider this as a standard Chinese translation, maybe with a little bit Cantonese flavor.

What I need from you are your availability, your best rate and your best delivery. Pls note that the quality for this project is a must.

We have a new translation project English-Chinese with a client. This project will involve translation and proof reading and approximately 10,000 words each month. We will need you to complete a test piece of about 335 words.

?I have attached the test piece which is English to Simplified Chinese and approximately 335 words. We ask that it is completed and returned to us within 24 hours if possible.
