In addition to publishing original research findings, the journal publishes state-of-the-art surveys written by prominent researchers. The journal’s industry section features case studies as well as papers on operations research techniques in industry and on open industrial problems.
Educational papers help improve the quality of operations research teaching. The PhD section publishes selected abstracts of recent PhD theses.
