3.1.6 TEM-EVO system Gas engine control system
Supply in bulk. MWM GmbH total electronic management- TEM carries out monitor and control to all functions of gas engine as well as auxiliary power of one unit. The monitoring function can protect the normal operation of unit and guarantee the longtime operation. TEM-EVO system controls and optimizes the combustion of air inside each cylinder. Integrated controlled feedback function can guarantee the optimum value and duplicate value under all states. TEM-EVO system is also suitable to special application via multinomial extension functions. In addition to TEM-EVO system, only contactor, on-line unit, generator protection/ parallel in protection and power measurement are required to be mounted on the switch cabinet of auxiliary power.
Setup 安装
TEM - EVO system includes the following 3 parts:
Power unit control cabinet ("AGS") 电力单元控制柜
Cable of the generator set is connected as a whole including unit control and safety chain for TüV inspection (Max. length of cable to gas engine is 15m).
I/O controller I/O 输入输出控制
It is mounted on switch cabinet of the auxiliary power ("HAS"), Max. distance to electro unit control cabinet is 250 m; 3-core shield communication cable is used.
Workstation 操作终端
Max. distance to electro unit control cabinet "AGS" is 100 m; 3-core shield cable is used.
The system adopts flexible design to satisfy the field conditions to lower various interferences and cable demand. The electro unit control cabinet is mounted near the engine. The engine cable has passed the test before the ex-works to guarantee the commissioning and stable operation in the future. Power related signal is sent to TEM-EVO system via input/output control of auxiliary power switch cabinet; data transmitted to the unit control is realized via high efficiency data bus. The operation terminal can be arranged at any place of the power plant according to the client's demand, e.g. near the unit or the switch cabinet room.

[MK] Control to engine water: the cooling water circulation control keeps proper temperature of the cooling water via the regulation of a three-way valve. Inlet temperature of the cooling water will increase under non-full load operation
[SER]The parallel connection is used for data exchange: it connects with the superior control via the parallel to carry out the data exchange such as target value, measured value, information, warning and error. The link adopts 3964R protocol and RK512 via TTY or CS20 mA. Max. distance between TEM EVO control system and superior control is 100 m
[GK] Intercooled cycle: it controls the temperature of intercooled cycle water by the regulation of a three-way valve and simultaneously monitors the temperature of mixer gas.
[IOC] I/o module: it controls the auxiliary power unit such as pump and valve, etc. and records the measuring value separately. This module is separated with the auxiliary power switch cabinet and supplied in bulk.
[16M] 16 parametrization information: diversification of digitizing input and parameter configuration ensure that error, warning or other information special for each generator set are transmitted to TEMEVO system. Thereby it is more simple in unit monitor and more clear in recording the operation log. The parametrization information is introduced to i/o module of auxiliary power switch cabinet as a potential-free contactor.
[AKRK] Antiknock control: high dynamics antiknock control of each cylinder effectively ensure the stable operation of the engine under low Methane number as well as ensure the power output of low emission and high efficiency
[NATL2] Monitoring the exhaust gas temperature behind exhaust gas supercharger A and B flexibly: display (display screen, history, parallel connection) and monitor the exhaust gas temperature behind exhaust gas supercharger A and B. Sending the error warning in case of the set value having been exceeded
[SATL2] Speed measurement and speed restriction of supercharger: display (display screen, history, parallel connection) and monitor the measurement and limitation of turbo charger speed.
[GL] Temperature monitor to generator bearing: display (display screen, history, parallel connection) and monitor the bearing temperature on both ends of generator. Reporting error or warning indication in case of the set value having been exceeded
[GLT] Temperature of the engine main shaft bearing will be monitored by TEM EVO system to protect the engine. Error or warning indication will be given in case of the set value having been exceeded; according to the magnitude of exceeded value, error prompt will be appeared first and then the warning
[AVW] TEMEVO controls the preheating of inlet temperature via the regulating valve. The inlet temperature is adjusted to the set value. The adjuster controls the regulating valve of heat exchanger
[VAWT/VSWT] Measurement to temperature of heating water before the exhaust gas cooler and the lubricating oil cooler
[SPC] Connection to maintenance computer: maintenance used socket is remained on TEMEVO control cabinet. After the maintenance computer is connected, the control system will cut off all other links with the terminal or the modem, then TEM EVO will carry out the operation via the maintenance computer
[BSX], [BSXK] Is preinstalled for parts of eService system [BSX] with cable [BSXK] included: used for the preinstallation of remote operation TEM-EVO system. The installation condition is that, for each TEM EVO system, one mechanical change-over switch or intelligent selected cell (IAE) is connected with eService modem system.
[2xNKAT] TEMEVO measures the temperature of exhaust gas behind the catalyst to protect the exhaust gas catalyst and gives out the error warning according to different operating condition

Setup 安装
TEM-EVO 系统包含以下3 部分:

系统为柔性设计满足现场条件,使各种干扰和电缆需求量降低。电力单元控制柜安装在发动机附近。发动机电缆在出厂前已通过测试,以保证今后调试和稳定运行。与电源有关信号将经辅助动力开关柜输入输出控制传递到TEM-EVO 系统,传递到机组控制的数据通过高效的数据总线实现。操作终端可以根据客户需求安置在电厂任何地方,例如机组附近或开关柜室。
