Roads and Traffic Conditions

The construction of Jingcheng Highway and Jingshen high-speed railway at south bank of Chao River will change the foundation of Miyun new city’s development pattern and move its development focus from Jingmi Road to the South. The city will change from introvert type to extravert type. The transportation conditions are being perfected, which makes Miyun entering into the 45-minute Economic Circle to downtown and accessible from the airport in 30 minutes. Metro S6 line passes the north boundary of project premises.

Environment & Landscape Resources
Miyun Newcity is surrounded by mountains and water canals, with rich natural landscape resources. The unique environmental advantages are accentuated, which laid Miyun a good foundation for its later take-off.

Commercial Zone General Planning
Designing Concept
Building up a distinctive commercial area based on mountains and water characteristics --- taking mounting as landscape and water as spirit.
The planned area is locating at both sides of Chao River and in front of Nanshan. The commercial area is planned to be built up as an urban space integrating “mountain, water and the city” with distinctive characteristics and full of vigor.

Mountain landscape is an environmental element in this region. By building up an ecological park of large area, it’s planned to construct two landscape corridors in north-south direction guiding the natural hill body into project premises, presenting the ecological characteristics of Miyun’s natural mountains and waters.Using Chao River and its main canal, it’s planned to establish the internal landscape water system with four water canals in east-west direction, to building up rich water landscape and a close-to-water environment. The green belt and water canals form a green ecological landscape network integrated with both water lines and surfaces, presenting the natural beauty of Miyun New City full of lives and vigor.

Functional Structure
It’s planned to build up the mixed functional areas, high level public service area and high-end residential area at both banks of Chao River to complete new city’s industrial functions.

Planning of green land system
A space close to mountains and water can help people relax their bodies and minds and enjoy the leisure. This is a green international commercial area different than cities with special charm.
