会议背景介绍：
In order to promote the development of Computational Materials Science and cultivate excellent talents in this field, the annual "International Symposium on Multi-scale Modeling and Simulation of Materials" has been successfully held seven times by the Computational Materials Science Branch of the Chinese Materials Research Society: Fudan University (2008, 2013), Tsinghua University (2009), Institute of Metal Research, CAS (2010), Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, CAS (2011), University of Science and Technology Beijing (2012), Institute of Solid State Physics, CAS (2014). The 2015 International Symposium on Multi-scale Modeling and Simulation of Materials will be held in Beijing on July 5-9, 2015. The symposium is organized by Beihang University and co-organized by Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics. The topics will cover different aspects of modeling and simulation of materials, and the training courses of different computational methods will be carried out. |
