会议背景介绍: The International Association for Computational Mechanics -IACM- beside the World Congresses organizes regional meetings to promote Computational Mechanics in different world areas. Well-known regional congresses on Computational Mechanics are the Asian-Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics -APCOM- and the European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering -ECCOMAS-.
The American Region (including the three Americas) has not had until now an IACM regional congress. For this reason, the Presidents of the National Associations in America affiliated to the IACM decided to start with a new series of Pan American Congresses on Computational Mechanics- PANACM. The Congress will be organized every 3 years and it will coincide with the WCCM when this event takes place in the American region. The first PANACM will take place in Buenos Aires in April 2015.
The purpose of the PANACM series is to promote achievements in Computational Mechanics in the Americas by encouraging young researchers, stimulating education in universities, disseminating modern trends in the field amongst scientists and engineering and mainly facilitating the interchange of knowledge between the north and the south.
PANACM 2015 will feature during 3 days over 500 international presentations in 12 parallel tracks plus 20 Plenary and Semi-Plenary Lectures delivered by the most prominent leaders in the growing field of Computational Mechanics. 征文范围及要求: MINISYMPOSIA will be organized in the following topics (the list is not exhaustive):
