会议背景介绍：
The goal of this workshop is to introduce advanced theory and recent progress in number theory to researchers and graduate students in China.
The first workshop was held in summer, 2011, with the theme on p-adic representations, theta correspondence, and the Langlands-Shahidi method. The second workshop was in summer, 2014, which focused on global theory of the Langlands program, automorphic forms, analytic number theory, and the theory of Eisenstein series. These two workshops were very successful, each attracted about 40 mathematicians and graduate students in the audience. Proceedings of the 2011 workshop were published by Science Press and have been sold out. Proceedings of the 2014 workshop are in progress.
This workshop will be held from July 16th to July 31st, 2015. The subjects are analytic number theory and representation theory. More precisely, the invited speakers will lectures on recent progress on bounded gaps between primes, sieve methods, circle methods, subconvexity bounds for L-functions, theory of automorphic forms, and automorphic representation theory. These are all active, central research areas in number theory. The talks and the communication between the speakers and the audience will significantly enhance number theory research in China. |
