会议背景介绍: Preparation: Conference venues are selected by the Board of Directors, typically based on proposals submitted 3 or more years in advance by CinC members who wish to host a meeting. The local hosts organize each meeting, with technical and logistical support from the Board. In late May or early June, the Board meets with the local hosts to plan the scientific sessions. At this time, the YIA finalists are chosen, and all submitted abstracts are reviewed. Accepted abstracts are assigned to scientific sessions, and a preliminary program is posted on this site shortly thereafter. At the meeting: A Sunday afternoon symposium, usually offering an in-depth look at a topic of current research by the local hosts, precedes the three-day scientific sessions, which typically include 200 to 250 presentations in plenary, parallel, and poster sessions. Scientific sessions begin Monday morning with a plenary session of presentations by Young Investigator Award finalists, followed by parallel and poster sessions. Monday afternoon is devoted to a social program organized by the local hosts to provide attendees an extended opportunity to meet while enjoying some of the attractions of the venue. Scientific sessions continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, and generally include a plenary session, a poster session, and several sets of parallel sessions each day. Presentations by participants in the annual PhysioNet/CinC Challenge take place in dedicated scientific sessions on Tuesday or Wednesday. A concluding Wednesday afternoon plenary session includes scientific presentations as well as presentations of the Rosanna Degani Young Investigator Awards, the PhysioNet/CinC Challenge Awards, and the Bill and Gary Sanders Poster Awards. 征文范围及要求: Topics discussed at recent Computing in Cardiology conferences Cardiovascular Imaging Echocardiography, angiography, SPECT and PET, MRI, CT, 3D imaging, multimodality imaging, knowledge-based image processing, new imaging modalities Cardiovascular Mechanics Contractile and valvular function, arterial biomechanics, coronary artery measurements, instrumentation, blood pressure ECG Repolarization, ischemia, high-resolution ECG, arrhythmia, diagnostic ECG, fetal ECG, apnea detection from the ECG Electrophysiology Mapping, ablation, fibrillation/defibrillation, implantable devices Medical Informatics Intranet/internet, DICOM and communication standards, automated decision support, telemedicine, PACS, databases, systems and instrumentation Modeling and Simulation Cellular models, forward and inverse solutions Molecular Techniques in Cardiology Novel Techniques System Study Heart rate variability, baroreflex control of circulation, methods and applications, nonstationarity and nonlinearity |
