20 years of working experience in technical translation and foreign affairs at a state owned large scale industrial enterprise, participation in the entire process of installation and commissioning and acceptance of imported equipment, participation in the entire process of construction of foreign-related industrial project, as a technical oral and written translator and working assistant to scores of field service electromechanical engineers at plant site. Familiar with industrial equipment, familiar with industrial enterprise environment and operation. Experienced in translation of international trade contract and tendering and bidding documents and large quantity of different kinds of technical documents.

At present, working in Beijing for about 3 years as a sales and technical support at an agency company specialized in equipment and technology of aerospace&shipbuilding&composite material.Major responsibility includes: oral and written translation for technical meeting and business negotiations, development and contact and liaison of suppliers abroad, establishment of cooperative relationship with suppliers abroad, international market research, research on international industry dynamics, international industry market information search, sourcing new technology and equipment from industrially developed countries ,etc.

Begining as a technical translator in shanxi cement plant in 1991 when graduating from shanxi university .Shanxi cement plant ,one of the biggest cement plants in china, importing advanced equipment and technology from industrially developed countries,technically supported and trained by field service engineers from suppliers of equipment imported.
Taking part in almost the entire construction of this project,such as designing /manufacture\civil construction\equipment installation&commissioning/ final production, working as a written and oral technical translator at plant site to assist more than 20 field service engineers including civil engineers,mechanical engineers, electrical engineers,and process engineers, having accumulated a great deal of experience in on site written and oral technical translation and foreign affairs. My translation covering business \international trade\civil engineering\ machinary \electricity\chemistry\automation\instrumentation / etc.having translated a large quantity of commercial and technical faxes\drawings\manuals\instruction books\contracts\ and bidding documents , participating in many kinds of foreign affairs activities, experiencing so many business visits,commercial and technical meetings and negotiations,etc.

The Department of Foreign Language was founded in 1919 ,in its 80-year-long history more than 8,000 students have graduated from this school. At present approximately 800 students enroll in the programs for undergraduate and graduate studies for either master’s or doctoral degrees, and in adult continuing education.
　　
　　In her history the department had a large number of prominent scholars serving as faculty, including Xu Shihu, Yan Shuen, Guan Qitong, Li Wanjie, Chang Feng, Gao Jian, Peng Fumin, Zhao Chaoqun, and Yang Deyou. Currently among 62 faculty members in the department are 7 full professors, 12 associate professors, 15 lecturers and 9 teaching assistants. Thirty-one faculty members have doctoral or master’s degree of a diversified backgrounds. This professional faulty team focuses on the students learning to satisfy the individual needs through the delivery of high quality education services. The faculty members are also active in linguistic and international cultural research and have yielded 44 journal publications and works in recent years.

　　The department houses the state-of-art facilities for teaching and research including six multimedia laboratories, a computer room, a ground satellite receiving station, and a reference room with over 50,000 volumes of books and other materials. In addition the department operates several public service programs: the Shanxi Province Language Training Center for the Perceptive Visitors to Foreign Country; Taiyuan Test Center of Nation Public Test (PETS-5), Shanxi Test Center of TOEFL; the Britain Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) Training & Test Center.

　　The education programs of the department are to provide training to the students in terms of the establishment of solid foundation in fundamental theory and methodology as well as a broad academic background. They also cover the development in practical skill, integrity, and sound physical and psychiatric conditions. Students take the courses of language, literature, history, political science, economics, social culture, etc. They receive sophisticatedly designed training in a stringent way for the development in listening comprehension, oral delivery, reading ability, writing skill and translating techniques. The course of general science and business are also taught. The students are to lay solid language foundations in language and develop diversified knowledge backgrounds in humanities, science and technology, management and Chinese language and literature. They are trained as the prospective foreign language professionals with the necessary qualifications in the fields of oral interpretation, written translation, language teaching and research, as well as in the institutions of international affairs, cultural exchange and cooperation.
