Joining Honeywell Avionics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which is a newly established Honeywell R&O facility for Honeywell aviation products, I took the responsibility of establishing & maintaining good business relationship with customers (most of them are spare parts departments of airlines), establishing organizations, working process & procedures for customer service department, establishing, maintaining, and enhancing an effective service & supply resource network within Honeywell global organizations, prepare and present reports on support status for all customer accounts, and coordinating with the operations, logistics, finance, and other resources to provide efficient & satisfactory services to customers. During my service at Honeywell Avionics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., number of our customers has tripled, and sales reached four times of the value when I first joined Honeywell. Besides shop repair service, we developed sales, exchange, AOG spares support & One-stop-shop service to our customers for units out of our capabilities, which transship customer units to oversea Honeywell service centers for repair/services, and now is one of the most important business for Honeywell Avionics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ?         February/2006-December/2006       Working as Executive Assistant to the CEO of XXX  Aviation Services Co., Ltd

Being the first local employee of this newly established multinational Joint Venture, I had very good opportunity to participate in the practice of establishing a new corporate. Working side by side with the executives, I not only assist the CEO with his schedule, documentation, filing, interpretation, coordination, travel, but also have full charge of the company¡¯s office administration while leading the other 2 OAs, including office facility purchasing, logistics, immigration, and interfaces with partners/service providers/departments. Most important of all, I was involved in the whole process and every aspect of the establishment of the Joint Venture, from business registrations to organization formation, from facility construction to policy drafting and business strategy making. Coordinating with relative departments and resources, I organized various events from ground breaking ceremony to team building. This gives me a very good overview of the business and valuable experience in management.

?          March/1998 - February/2006            Working as Technical Library Manager and Aviation Interpreter with XXX Airlines Co., - Anhui Branch.

As Technical Library Manager for MD-90 and A320 airplanes:
I revise technical manuals, make records of manual revisions, file maintenance documents and work sheets, input raw data (air data, maintenance practice records, and engine indications) into a computer-based monitoring system. As the interface between the company and the vendor/supplier, I kept information flow effectively and accurately between the company and the vendors/suppliers. Established the first technical library and a digital filing system (in this department) to manage manuals, documents and work sheets, so that they could be efficiently arranged, consulted and filed. As super user for both Boeing and Airbus network and documents, I was familiar with using network/document resources to find solutions for engineering. When working as a part-time instructor and as a routine, I provide help/instruction on using of the manuals/documents/websites and give lessons on English language for maintenance personnel.
        As Aviation Interpreter:
I make English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation when: Chinese versions of manuals/documents are needed; communicating with English speaking vendors/representatives; and mechanics and pilots are trained by English-speaking instructors. As a chief editor, I translated and edited a book called "MD-90 Aircraft Practical Maintenance Manual", which consists of above 400,000 words, to be used within China Eastern Airlines. I served as interpreter for MD90 flight crews during their recurrent training at the training center of Delta Airlines in 2001 and 2002, and for B737-700 flight crews during their initial training at the SAS Flight Academy in Stockholm in 2003. During pilot-training, I was responsible for the pilots¡¯ transportation, accommodation, account, and all the other daily issues concerning their living and training in abroad. I serve as coordinator and interpreter when English-speaking vendors/representatives visit this maintenance base and when they provide filed service for the fleet, being responsible for the daily issues concerning their living and work at this base, and for organizing/arranging their conferences/meetings with the relative people at this base.

?          Aug./1994-March/1998           Working as Foreign Trade Operator with XXX Rubber Company.

I attended business fairs, conferences and seminars, sent out catalogues and samples to interested companies, and presented and explained products to potential customers. I dealt with contract negotiations, including agreement signatures and then had the products produced in factories. From there, I followed the products through quality control departments, through customs, and then to final shipment. Throughout, I was involved with all necessary documentation and making arrangements for final money settlement. Average sales amounts were quite high and at one time reached $1 million during a month.
