Main task comprises document translation & meeting and site interpretation which cover disciplines of civil, mechanical installation, I&C, welding, piping and etc. Document translation covers drawings of civil & mechanical work, contracts with subcontractors & suppliers for all materials, correspondence with client (Octal), project management company(F+G), design institute(Atkins, UIF, Nanjing crownford). Interpretation includes site interpretation regarding civil work, mechanical installation, pressure test, commissioning & meeting interpretation regarding HSE & progress& issues concerning civil, mechanical work.

Worked as a translator in Sinopec Puguang Sour Gas Gathering & Transmission Projects from Nov,2008 to Sep ,2009. One of my main tasks is to do interpreteration for the Canadian experts in the meetings with enduser, local supervision companies and contractors, which includes daily meeting, weekly meeting and other meetings attended by experts in different disciplines. Accompanying the Canadian engineers to the sour gas construction fields to supervise the construction of the project.
To translate the quality observation reports and safety reports and the approval documents of the project and contracts and other kinds of documents (daily reports, weekly reports, meeting minutes etc.); Do the translation for the station& pipeline test plan and the commissioning plan for some facilities( e.g: the commissioning plan for the wellhead control cabinet and methanol pump ).
